I recently read a newsletter article by CRR Global—
https://crrglobal.com/unlocking-team-potential-through-story/
And it expanded my thinking around the power of storytelling.
I’ve been exploring storytelling as a leadership and coaching tool within my classes, heavily focusing on practicing storytelling in these two roles.
However, the article showed me that it can also be a tool for shaping systems and cultures. I don’t know why I hadn’t realized that before.
Our stories shape systems. And the language within our stories is potent.
A story in this context can be written, verbal, tribal, and iterative.
I encourage you to read the article and to become more aware of the power of your stories.
Stay agile, my friends,
Bob.
