Take 3, #4
Sharing is Caring
In this post, I want to share three interesting ideas I’ve recently encountered. I’m not directly advocating for them; I'm just sharing them with you for your consideration.
This is a periodic series where I share things. It gives you a lens into what I consider interesting and ideas that might surface in my ongoing work.
Jason Averbook – Greater Than Yourself
Not your typical post on AI, Jason explores Steve Farber’s GTY framework—
Here’s a powerful snippet from the article—
Staying Human in the Age of AI
AI keeps inching toward what we once considered our edge. It scales knowledge, speeds work, and replicates patterns we believed were ours alone.
But here’s the contrast:
AI can replicate knowledge. Humans can replicate people.
AI can scale tasks. Humans can scale trust.
AI can deliver answers. Humans deliver belief.
AI can simulate empathy. Humans choose generosity.
If efficiency is the race, AI wins. If humanity is the race, GTY keeps us in the game.
Forest or Desert
Ivett Ördög shared her take on a Kent Beck post exploring two categories of organizational and team culture as either a forest or a desert. I enjoyed the take—
Another by Richard Sheridan
Who can pass up a good “Joy Challenge” when they see it?
+1, Erin Meyer—International Cultures
Erin shared this thought-provoking look at analyzing different cultures and visualizing how they might interact.
I hope you found today’s three ideas interesting. Until next time…
Stay agile, my friends,
Bob.
